How to choose the right wood for your Finnish sauna?
There are many types of wood, but not all are suitable for building a sauna. You must be careful that the smell released from the wood when the sauna cabin reaches high temperatures is pleasant.
Igan Style used traditional FIR, elegant EASTERN PEARWOOD, fine CANADIAN HEMLOCK, or indestructible OKUME.

What arrangements should I make to have a sauna installed?
To install a sauna indoors or outdoors, all you need is a power outlet, either single-phase or three-phase, that has a surge protector and supports the electrical load of the stove.
Do you need a water outlet to install a sauna?
Not at all! The sauna only needs electrical power.
Is it easy to install an Igan Style sauna?
Yes, the process is very straightforward; you need to be proficient in mounting and have an electrician or chimney sweep present to wire the electric stove, wood stove, or infrared panels.
In any case, our saunas are shipped on pallets and organized in convenient and easy assembly kits. They are also supplied with hardware, blueprints, and simple instructions.
